IT BEGINS WITH THE SOIL™

WHO WE ARE

The Soil Movement™ is a national nonprofit dedicated to regenerating land, reconnecting people to the earth, and restoring truth in our food system—one root at a time.

Founded by a mother, farmer, and advocate, The Soil Movement uplifts farmers, homesteaders, gardeners, and conscious consumers who are ready to heal the land and take back stewardship of our soil, food, and future.

We believe that change starts beneath our feet. Through education, hands-on workshops, community events, and storytelling, we empower individuals to transition from conventional to regenerative practices—whether they’re growing food on a thousand acres or in a backyard garden.

Our Mission

To grow a grassroots movement that brings awareness, support, and resources to those rebuilding soil health, regenerating ecosystems, and fighting for transparency in our food supply.

What We Do

• Host regenerative agriculture workshops and field events

• Share voices and stories through The Soil Podcast

• Build a national network of soil-minded advocates and land stewards

• Create resources for farmers, families, educators, and future change-makers

We’re here to remind the world that the answers to our health, climate, and connection aren’t far away — they’re already in the soil.

SOIL PODCAST

Rooted in truth, transparency, and transformation, The SOIL Podcast is on a mission to reconnect people to the land—and to those who steward it. Hosted by Sarah McDaid, each episode digs deep into regenerative agriculture, holistic wellness, and the stories of farmers, gardeners, and land advocates who are healing our soil and food systems from the ground up. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and empower a movement where it all begins—with the soil.
